The galaxy veil - CDC "Ghosts and Poltergeists"

October’s Character Design Challenge entry! :)
Every Halloween since her passing, when the veil between the World of the Living and the World of the Dead gets thin enough, she gets back to her old friend, hoping for them to soon be reunited and explore the endless wonders of cosmos…

First idea that came to my mind was to paint the ghost of an old lady petting her cat, and that also was a perfect excuse to paint a tribute to my Lulu, an adorable rescue cat from my childhood, whom I loved very much :)

I went for a different stylized approach due to a lack of time to paint this, I had to keep it very simple.
