The Not-so-Mighty Adventurer - CDC "Axolotl Adventurer"

My entry for this month’s Character Design Challenge, the theme is "Axolotl Adventurer".
I had a lot of fun on this one, playing with textures and colors. It could use a bit more work but I don’t have much free time so I am calling it done, I like how stupid this axolotl looks.

Here's the quick backstory for this character:
«Lola Xolotl can’t focus on her big journey because of… BUBBLES!
Will she manage to find the promised land, or will she get lost following pretty bubbles, funny fish, and everything not-adventure-related on her way? »
